Most people never think about salt marshes until a storm hits and the water doesn’t stop where it used to.   • Spraying a thin slurry of mud and water onto marshes to buy them a few extra millimetres of height.
  • Setting aside inland land so marshes have somewhere to retreat to as water rises.
