The biographical drama limited series The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox debuted on Hulu in the U.S. on August 20, 2025, with the first two episodes going live at the same time, 12 a.m. ET. After that, new shows came out every Wednesday until the finale on October 1, 2025. The show is also offered on Disney+ in other countries.
The official clip came out on July 30, 2025, and it gave people a scary look into Amanda Knox’s traumatic life, from her time as a student studying abroad to her time in prison and her fight to be freed.

Story and Tone
The show makes Amanda Knox’s experience after her roommate Meredith Kercher was killed in Perugia, Italy, in 2007 more dramatic. It talks about how she was wrongfully convicted, spent four years in prison, and the long legal fight that ended with her being released in 2015.
