Indian entrepreneur and Zerodha co-founder Nithin Kamath has urged action on air pollution as tech millionaire Bryan Johnson – famous for his anti-aging researches – recently exited his brother Nikhil Kamath’s podcast.
Poor air quality in the area at the time of the shoot has been held responsible for Johnson exiting the place, despite there being an air purifier in the room. Reflecting on the incident, Nithin has made a detailed post on social media to highlight the need for cleaner air.
He noted in his post on Instagram that long-term exposure to poor air quality can cause lung damage, compromised immunity, an increased risk of cancer and other issues – ultimately affecting quality of life.
Nithin Kamath compared Indian cities’ air quality to that recorded in the US and Europe. He also suggested that real estate prices in India should be directly proportional to the place’s air quality. More details on the same to be published soon. Keep an eye out.
