UNEP: Look at the Caribbean’s Futuristic E-Vehicle Surge!

The world is all set for a progressive transformation in mobility and the Caribbean is preparing for a bold transition towards electric vehicles and becoming a trendsetter in adapting to environmental friendly initiatives. The Caribbean joins with nations like Barbados, Jamaica to embrace EVs for long-term ecological sustainability. Around 33 fleets of electric buses have been introduced in Bridgetown, Barbados where the population of the people is estimated around 300,000. Meanwhile, in the Caribbean they hold the highest per capita number of EVs and it perfectly aligns with the goal of a full percentage of renewable transport sector 2030.
