Tesla Roadster: Elon Musk expects the release of this highlighted anticipated supercar to be ‘spectacular’

Chief Executive Elon Musk has a clear vision for his company’s future: dominance in the industry. The rise in Tesla shares helped add $34 billion to his fortune in a single day. The prominent entrepreneur and investor remains the richest man globally.
But the delay in the release of Tesla Roadster is a cause of concern. Recently, Musk thanked “the long-suffering deposit holders of the highly anticipated supercar,” before explaining that the reason it has not come out is because it’s “the cherry on the icing on the cake.”
Tesla could make Peter Thiel’s flying car a reality
The Tesla Roadster is the EV maker’s first product. In 2008, the company sold 570 of these sports cars, the year Elon Musk took over as CEO. In 2017, Tesla announced its plans to launch a next-gen Roadster featuring a higher top speed and longer battery range.
Production for the supercar has been significantly delayed. Tesla Roadster is “in development TBD”, a status that has remained unchanged since 2017. But recently, Musk albeit the Roadster has been delayed, Tesla probably has bigger plans in store.
Entrepreneur Musk explained that people think he and private equity billionaire Peter Thiel are rivals. But both of them are actually “really good friends”,he insisted. There is a possibility that Tesla could soon make Thiel’s flying car a reality.
