United for a Common Cause
The Community Volunteer Awards are a collaborative venture jointly organized by Blackburn with Darwen Council and Community CVS. Local businesses and public sector organizations stand firmly behind this celebration of community spirit and volunteerism.
The heart of the children’s competition centers on the theme of “nature.” Young artists are encouraged to channel their love for the environment into their creations. The guidelines stipulate that centerpieces can reach heights of up to one meter and have a diameter of 30cm.
The canvas for creativity is boundless – these eco-artworks can take any shape, crafted from a wide array of materials. The color palette, in keeping with the green theme, is elegantly restricted to gold, silver, black, and white.
Mark Your Calendars: Deadlines and Deliberations
As the event date approaches, participants are racing against time. All entries must be prepared by Friday, October 13. Parents will then capture the essence of these artistic masterpieces through photographs for judging on Monday, October 16. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, October 17, providing ample time for preparations.
