Southern California battles storm after brutal Palisades and Eaton Fires

Today, residents of a Southern California mountain community near the recent Eaton Fire burn scar dug out of roads submerged in sludge after the strongest storm of 2025 made things difficult for people in the area.

The storm unleashed debris and muddy messes in multiple neighbourhoods just recently torched by the brutal California fires. Bulldozers are helping clean up roads submerged by mud. Many home garages took a hit and at least one car got trapped in the mud.

Sierra Madre officials issued orders of evacuation for areas affected by the recent blazes, alerting people there that city personnel cannot enter areas experiencing active mud and debris situation until the places are deemed safe.
