How to Park at Manchester Airport: All You Need to Know 2025

Manchester Airport (MAN), which is the UK’s busiest regional hub, handles more than 25 million passengers a year and has a variety of parking choices available through 2025. As part of a £1.3 billion renovation, booking ahead can save you up to 77% compared to paying on the day, especially in the summer and other busy times. Know what options you have before you go on a trip, whether it’s for a short work trip or a long vacation. All legal parking lots have the Park Mark® seal of approval and are safe by having CCTV, patrols, and barriers.

A Look at the Parking Options

There are seven main types of parking at Manchester Airport, each one designed for a different length of trip and price. Meet & Greet is the most convenient option. You can leave your car at the terminal’s front gate, and a driver will park it safely while you walk to check-in in less than two minutes. This is great for families or people with a lot of bags. It’s an expensive option that you can get at Terminals 1, 2, and 3 (T2 is now marked as P1). There is covered parking on multiple floors, and the airports (T2 West is now P3) are only 1 to 8 minutes away. It’s good for short stays up to 10 days. Mid Stay at T1/T3 is a good deal for trips of up to a week. You can get there by bus or short walk. Drop & Go allows you to stay for seven days or more. It’s only a five-minute bus ride to T1/T2 or a three-minute walk to T3. If you’re on a tight budget, JetParks (1, 2, 3, Ringway) are a great choice. They have free shuttles that run every five to ten minutes, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Off-site providers like APH or Hunters make transfers that are similar but cost less.

Special Features and Easy Access

People with a Blue Badge can drop off items for free and use designated areas; booking ahead ensures preference. Charging stations for electric cars are available in some places, like JetParks and airport hotels, to help travellers who care about the environment.

Costs for 2025

Prices vary based on length of stay, terminal, and time of booking, but the best deals are found when you book ahead of time (based on November 2025, 8-day stays unless otherwise noted; prices are open to change). Meet & Greet costs £84.99, Multi-Storey up to £239.20 per day, Mid Stay £72.99 (4 days in October), JetParks £59.99, and Drop & Go £65.99. It costs £5 to £25 to use a drop-off zone for 10 to 30 minutes. Free shuttle zones don’t charge these fees. Rates for walk-ins can go up to £61.40/day, so always book ahead of time. Newsletters and coupon codes can save you up to 20%, and comparison sites like Holiday Extras can save you up to 80% off gate prices.

How to Reserve a Space

You can easily book on the official site (manchesterairport.co.uk/parking) or through a comparison site like Looking4 or SkyParkSecure. Enter your dates, terminal, and interests to see what choices you have. You can pay with a credit card or PayPal account and get an email with ANPR information (no tickets needed). You can change or cancel your reservation for free up to 72 hours in advance (or for free in an hour with security). For Multi-Storey, you can book up to two months in advance. Most appointments last up to two hours, and Meet & Greet appointments last six hours. When you arrive, ANPR lifts the gates; if you’re late, use the intercom.
