Regional Consultations on Cooperation for Better Air Quality in West Asia will bring together government officials, experts from academia and think tanks, representatives from international organizations, and other stakeholders to talk about ways to improve air quality in the region. The meetings will be about the following things:
- Sharing information and best practices on how to manage air quality.
- Finding gaps in how to manage air quality and making suggestions for how to fill them.
- Building partnerships and working together to improve air quality
The consultations are part of the UNEP-WHO Clean Air for Healthy Cities (CAHC) programme, which helps cities improve air quality and reduce the health effects of air pollution.
