The agri-food sector has the potential to transform in a way that benefits people, the environment, and businesses all at once. To help the industry increase resilience, mainstream best practice’s, protect biodiversity, and contribute to a more sustainable food system, the Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity for Agriculture and Food (TEEB Agri Food) for Business project created forward-thinking Guidelines.
The final Operational Guidelines for Business are being released by Capitals Coalition and partners. These Guidelines assist businesses by valuing their effects and reliance on people and the environment in key decision-making.
The Guidelines are the outcome of lessons learned over a four-year period from roundtable discussions, consultations, training sessions, and pilot projects involving businesses and experts from seven different countries.
It is a sophisticated and forward-looking guide for multi-capital assessments.
On September 14, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM CEST, an interactive webinar will be held to commemorate the launch.
