High Level Side Event on Climate Finance Needs of Developing Countries

Event Description
The event’s goal is to highlight the steps that nations have taken to make it easier for people to access and mobilize climate finance for needs and priorities that are supported by the Needs-Based Finance (NBF) Project, a work program run by the secretariat and funded by donors by the mandates of COP 23, COP 26, and COP 27.

The occasion will showcase the experiences of nations that receive NBF support and give a progress report on the steps taken to make it easier to access and mobilize climate finance.
