By recognizing the role of “emotional responses” in driving climate change engagement, CSTEP seeks to bridge the gap between science and society.

CSTEP’s eARTh initiative challenges conventional top-down climate communication. Instead, it envisions art as a transformative force capable of inspiring collective action.
The objective is to make climate engagement more inclusive and participatory, encouraging individuals to take meaningful steps towards climate-conscious decisions.
Artists Converge to Ignite Change
Environmental artists from diverse backgrounds will convene at the Bangalore International Centre on October 14th to kickstart the eARTh project.
This gathering marks the beginning of a creative journey aimed at leveraging art to address climate change challenges.

The eARTh launch event will feature a lineup of diverse talents, including musician and composer Vasu Dixit, lake conservationist Usha Rajagopalan, artist Gigi Scaria, photojournalist NP Jayan, Aravani Art Project founder and creative director Poornima Sukumar, stand-up comedian and podcaster Sundeep Rao, and singer-songwriter Anoushka Maskey. These creative minds will contribute their unique perspectives to drive climate action through art.
