It is essentially the kit required to send and receive power from your car to your house and on to the national grid. The concept is If you can get your car recharged when energy is cheap, you can sell it back to the grid when prices soar higher and turn a profit.

There is a secret solar revolution going on in dozens of countries across the globe. Driving this boom is cost – solar has become the cheapest form of electricity now. China has installed more solar this year than the US has in the past 30 years. There is now real hope.

Big battery farms have been springing up at an amazing speed. “When you add storage into the mix, it makes it a lot easier to get to a majority share of renewable energy,” said Peter Kavanagh, chief executive of Harmony Energy, according to BBC News.

Several major climate cases go before the judges in the next one year. One of the biggest climate suits in history is taking place in the US. Oregon’s Multnomah County is making a $52 billion damages claim against oil and gas producers for triggering a heatwave in 2021.

Exploring the history really show how much progress has been made in a short period. The 2015 Paris Agreement didn’t contain any mention of oil, gas and coal. Now as delegates meet in Dubai, it is hoped the parties shall agree to finally end the use of these fuels in some shape.
