California Fires: Tesla helping ease scale of crisis for employees

The brutal Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire raging in different parts of California are making global headlines. The death toll in the destruction has reached 24. It could rise further as experts forecast strong gusts and less humidity.

Only 13% of the Palisades Fire has been contained so far. It has torched 23,723 acres already. The Eaton Fire, on the other hand, is 27% contained and has already destroyed 14,117 acres. Dozens of people are still missing.

The scale of destruction is huge. More than 12,000 buildings are damaged. Tesla, led by its CEO Elon Musk, one of the richest persons today, is helping ease the crisis for its employees and communities impacted.

Tesla is offering housing accommodations, transportation and meals to impacted employees (homes lost or destroyed by fires). Tesla Superchargers, except the Pasadena one, are back online. In addition, Cybertrucks featuring Starlink internet are stationed at different places.
