What NX China’s Dual Certification Signals for Green Compliance
Fresh ISO recognition places NX China under the spotlight, showing how structured environmental and safety systems are influencing corporate sustainability norms.
NX China has picked up two ISO certifications, signalling a tighter approach to corporate green standards across logistics work. NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS said the company secured ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management and ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety in December 2025, covering its core operations. It was announced on January 22, 2026.
What The Certifications Cover Inside Real Operations
The scope is broad: international air and ocean freight, integrated logistics, NVOCC services, warehousing, and ground transport, along with cargo agency services. The release also lists December 11, 2025 as the acquisition date and names Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS (UK Branch) as the certifying body.
On the environment side, ISO 14001 is built around systems that improve environmental performance and support compliance. On the safety side, ISO 45001 is designed to manage risks and reduce incidents at work.
What “Green Standards” Looks Like In Practice
NX China described on-ground actions tied to the environmental system:
- New energy vehicles used more often on local legs
- Packaging recycled and reused, less waste on routes
- Paperless steps pushed harder in documentation
And for safety, the company flagged standardised safe production steps, stronger risk checks, and better emergency response routines, aiming for zero accidents. That target sounds tough, but it sets a clear bar.
For corporate clients, this kind of dual certification often shows up in tenders, supplier audits, and ESG reviews. It also lowers the “prove it” gap when sustainability claims get questioned.
